I have two hens and one rooster that have been free range their whole lives. This past winter we had to move and they are all now in a coop. At first I thought it was because he was stressing from the change.. and maybe it is; but he has lost feathers down his neck, back and chest. His wings are okay and so is his butt feathers. He is really begining to look shabby. He is doing his job and both my hens are brooding, he eats great, and wakes us in the morning... he is just loosing feathers. Neither of the hens are though, and we have turkeys in an adjcent coop and they are doing just fine.
Anyone have a clue what is going one or an idea of how to stop it??
Thanks
Amber
