Rooster lost his crow after hawk attack

Days ago we had some hawk attacks resulting in the loss of two hens over a 3 day period, as well as a couple near misses. We secured the space and all seems to have retuned to normal except that my poor, sweet 10 month old rooster hasn't crowed since. Is he in morning? Is there anything i can do for him?

For context he’s my only roo and had 12 hens, now has 10. One of those lost was one of his favorites.

Losing some girls, and watching many others getting injured is tough. On top of that, I'm sure he got pretty scared himself. He's only a cockerel after all. Give him some time to feel comfortable again. So sorry for your losses

Vocal cord massage if no physical attack to neck. He'll grow into his vocals just much later.
