Rooster meets chick (+chick pics)

My 5 month old Roo (Fro) has always been able to get right up to the brooder in the run. But today one of my 3 chicks (Sobe) hopped out as I was getting their feeder out so she got to "officially" meet Fro. I let them check each other out for like 2 minutes and then put Sobe back but I was impressed that nothing bad happened.

Oh and these are my first chickens so maybe that's normal, idk, but it was exciting to me lol

Your Polish roo is beautiful! I have 8 Polish chicks that I have been keeping in the coop as well and your brooder looks very close to the one I am using! My Polish roo has been quite the dad to them! He checks them regularly and keeps the hens at bay! I am quite taken with the Polish breed and we are raising more of them!

My boy was a young guy at the time I introduced a first batch of chicks to him,he was maybe A year old ,he ran from them,he was very scared of hen.
