He hatched on Easter.
He loves affection, and when he was younger he would sit on my shoulder all day every day!

He’s about 2 years old.
I’ve got more cockerels that I need to take pictures of lol.
Ollie should be one of your submissions for the BYC Calendar contest. Just saying!:love

This is my silkie mix rooster, Biscuit. He is about 2 years old and really sweetheart. Likes to come in the house when he had enough outside time, lol.

Cojiro, my silver sebright cockerel - he’s my favorite lol. And also a house chicken atm...View attachment 2304004
I'm a newbie here so forgive the question - is he taking a dust bath in the water and suds? Or are you cleaning him for some reason? Or does he just like the water? Or is he - no insult intended - 🤣 a duck in disguise???

Lol, no offence taken. He was injured and had some major mobility issues, so needed regular baths to make sure his feathers stayed clean and the poo didn’t stay all stuck to his bum. He did seem to enjoy it though; the bath and the blow drying after. xD I also wouldn’t put it past him to imitate the ducks, he was rooming with 2 ducklings at the time. xD

I have more roos than i can deal with right now myself. i am going to eventually build a roo pad so I can keep all my pretty boys without hurting my girls. as is it'a tenuous balance seee in my bantam coop theres MicroRoo my blind barred rock, Porcy (pronounced porky) my Porcelain d'Uccle, Millifecient my Mille Flure d'Uccle roo. Snowden White Silky Roo. Chewie my mottled Silky roo, Antil varmint got him couple weeks ago Duke my Black Cochin (he was soo handsome) And in the Brooders are an yet to be determined for sure number of Silky Cochin and d'Uccle roos. Then there is the Big Bird house with Roofus, Peteroo, Bill, Bill Jr. Buffy Long legs, and 2 rotten Lace Wyandotte's, Some of the big boys are gonna have to go real soon. They are taking up too much of the coop just for themselves.
This is my Roofus Best Lead roo ever couldn't tolerate near as many boys without him as lead roo.View attachment 2305261
