Seeking advice, please....
I have a beautiful big Langshan, a gentle soul for a rooster, who eats well, is active, and seems healthy in all respects. He is 6 months old. I got him at a month. His poop is only the watery, light brown cecal kind, no other consistency or colour. I keep reading it's ok occasionally, but have found nothing about this situation. My chooks free-range in my garden & compost during the day, & I feed a custom local cracked grain mix, cooked oats in the morning, a bit of scratch grains later, and a cut up apple every couple days. The other 4 birds, all hens, have entirely normal poop. Such a fun discussion topic, lol! Thanks!

And, welcome to BYC! Sorry your introduction to our little world has to be a health concern.
Besides his poop, how is everything else about your rooster? Is he active, attentive to the girls, eating and drinking well...

So I followed through and took in a large sample .... lol. It was analyzed and coccidiosis was diagnosed. Oral antibiotics were prescribed and duly administered (never dealt with such a large chicken, but he's amazingly good-tempered...), and his droppings have changed radically for the better. So glad I finally did something about it... such a pleasant personality, and he even does yoga... (!) hope he's around for a good while!
