Rooster or hen Buff 7 weeks

Ok what’s your best guess on this one. I’m thinking because the tail feathers are more directed up and those white fluffy feathers around the neck, she could be a he.

That buff is a pullet and tail/neck feathers have NO implication at this age. Gender specific feathering (shape not color) starts to come in around 12 weeks on most breeds.

At this age it's all about comb and wattle development and color in addition to behavioral clues.. and your physical characteristics is saying ALL lady! :celebrate

Ok Thanks, I always read about the feathers, so I didn’t realize it was for the later age. I so love the Buffs and do not want to get rid of one due to Rooster. But oh my lands the neighbors would not be happy
