Hey!! I’m relatively new to raising chickens, and I love it!! I’ve been using this site for a lot of help raising them, and have a quick question, to anyone that would be willing to help! I have two white leghorns. I bought them at the same time, and was told they were both female and the same age. They very well could be, but it seems as one might be growing a bit faster and/or is a rooster. It has a much larger comb and wattle. However, one of them got pretty badly injured early on, when they were only a couple weeks old. She got attacked by my sisters dog, and her leg was completely dislocated. That or her tendon might have slipped (I think that’s the correct wording?) but it had been really bad. I gave her b-12 daily, made her a sling, etc., and she made a full recovery and I can’t even tell the difference in the way the two leghorns walk. But now I’m wondering if the reason they look so different is that the other one is growing at a slower pace because of the injury, or if they’re just different sexes. If anyone could help me figure it out that would be awesome!!!! (I know the pictures aren’t great, but I think you can tell one has a larger comb)
