Omigosh, he looks even more like a rooster today. It's funny how long I was in denial about it. He's a sweet guy too. My daughter is sad to give him up

LOL yes, I'm 98% sure this one's a girl! She's much more docile and sweet too.

I know how you feel, I got 3 what were supposed to be pullets (my first set of chicks ever) and my EE turned out to be a rooster so I exchanged him for a her. I was sad, I had him since he was so little.

bekahubbell, hopefully you bonded well with the new EE. Did you have trouble introducing her to your other two? I put my new girl in with my other two. She's a bit smaller and my wyandotte went after her and drew a little blood on her comb. She was scared So, we pulled her inside for a bit to re-group and de-stress. I think I'll try introducing them slowly with a barrier between them so they can't attack. Poor little girl!
