    The lighter one with the heavily feathered feet is a cockerel. The darker one with the crest looks like a pullet.

    i thought so! thank you! the pumpkin colored one has been picking fights with the black silkie mix.

    Can't see the tail feathers on the black one, but I think they are both roosters, how old.

    One of each. The black faced bird is a pullet, the gold/red bird is a cockerel.
