Those are bare minimums for “birds” not 6 roosters in one pen. Those pets might do a little better with more room.

It’s not that you can’t keep them in 100 sq feet. It’s just not wise. The more room they have the better they’ll get along and less problems you’ll have with them. The more room the healthier they’ll be too.They do all get along except for this one that’s a bit frisky.
I’m not sure how old they are but as they mature you’ll see more issues. Having the hens so close within sight and hearing of the roosters will make it worse too.I totally agree more room is better. I do let them free range when the weather is nice and I can supervise them. I don’t want any predators to kill them.
They do seem content. Rarely do I see issues between them up until this recent problem.
