Rooster questions

Not cuddling wont make a difference i had a cockerel i didnt cuddle and he was very aggressive. I also have an ameraucana i didnt over cuddle and he was aggressive but now i pick him up and stuff but he also has no females so no need to be aggressive. I hand feed all my birds even my blrw rooster who wasnt over cuddled hes one thats not aggressive towards me but hates other roosters. I actually also have a young cockerel I handled allot and hes skittish asf so handling or not wont make a nice bird. If you plan on keeping another cockerel its best to add him to the older birds asap so he knows right away where he is on the pecking order

All good advice. Without exception, my crazy aggressive roosters were the ones that wanted love and hopped in your lap and all that good stuff. The ones that stay away when you come in the coop or run, turn out to be the good ones. These are my experiences. Others may differ which is why I tend to stay away from these type threads. Someone is bound to disagree. Good luck in your chicken adventures!

Thanks! I plan to bring them in at 10 weeks, is that good?

In my experience, whether you handle your roosters or not doesn’t impact whether they’ll be human aggressive or not. It just impacts how confident they are about being aggressive. Also, if you keep petting/hand feeding a cockerel after he starts to show aggressive behaviors, that could make him worse rather than better.
