I am currently deciding what rooster to get for my flock, I would like one that is large, or at least not small, and is aggressive to other roosters but not to humans. Currently the best two options are a Jersey giant rooster or an American Gamefowl rooster ( the Gamefowl rooster is too small and the jersey giant would not be aggressive enough to other roosters ). Any suggestions would be helpful thanks!

Go oriental game. Go Shamo Malay or Ga Noi and it will be bigger than the Jersey Giants, badder than the American game.

I am moving my chickens and I have heard stories from friends of feral roosters hopping their fence and attacking their hens.
In that case you'd be better to cover the run with a roof or netting.
If it were me and there were feral roosters I wouldn't want them anywhere near my flock, mean or not. Diseases can be carried and spread.

My Barred Rock cross roo is very kind to younger birds and chicks.
He is very comfortable with humans.
Once he was grown, he gave his brothers hell, before I sold them.
His mother weighs 12 pounds.

Today, an animal sanctuary is coming to take 10 young roosters from me.
That must be a crazy place.

I had a few Plymouth barred rock roosters and they are the best!! Never had a problem with any of them.
That’s interesting, I currently have 2 Plymouth Rock hens and they are real pains to the other hens. They attack the other hens often.
