Rooster reccomendations

I have heard that the PBR hens can be mean to certain other breeds to show dominance, but my experience along with others is that they are very docile, but they will stand their ground. I consider them brave more then anything because they are so much more petite compared to the other birds I have. Each bird is an individual with breeding traits not being guaranteed of course. I have never had a bad PBR rooster though. The roosters I had were always well mannered with myself, my dogs and young children. Plus they were great with the hens.

Did your PBR hens grow up with the other hens you have? or did you just introduce them?

They were introduced, I raised the two of them together from the age of chicks with not other chickens till they were young pullets
 
That's prob why. My rooster will grab the back of the hens heads, but when they holler he lets go. He isn't very rough with them. They all have their feathers, no bald spots..
