Rooster Shaking/Trembling

Thank you for the help from everybody.  Just a few minutes ago he died. I am thinking possibly an organ failure as it happened so fast. His comb turned a dark purple right at the end.

I am so sorry for your loss!

I wouldn't presume that it was organ failure without a necropsy. And especially not off information you received from me. He turned blue because he was no longer getting oxygen for some reason. I would try to insure it isn't something the rest of you flock could get.

And sadly, chickens although fairly hardy can succumb to things very rapidly. He could have had impacted crop or any # of things that could happen. Please for your own peace of mind, if you can afford to... get the necropsy done.
