Rooster sneezing

Wheezing is worse in the mornings, but is better by late evening?

If so, then you may need more ventilation in your coop.

A 3ml syringe is fine to use, you're just going to oral dose him, but if your vet will give you one that's great.

Okay, so this may be too long for you to spend time on. I understand if you cannot.

The original coop we bought second hand and added on to.

All in inches.

Original coop was 38w x 36l x 46h (Z door in pics) with 2 outside nest boxes
Add on is 38w x 63l x 42h w/ 2 internal nest boxes
Total size is 38w x 99l with the respective heights.

In the original portions there are 3 vent areas - 1 & 2 are in walls; 3 is at ceiling
1 is 16l x 8h (above nest box)
2 is 16l x 4h (above chicken door)
3 is 3l x 30h (above chicken door at ceiling)

In the add on there are 3 vent areas all in walls

1 is 4h x 55l (above x door)
2 is 3h x 33 (above interior next boxes)
3 is 5.5h x 55l (above solid wall)

Chicken door is shut at night.

Hubby is saying that perhaps we should cut a vent hole at the bottom of the solid wall that runs the entire length of the wall @ 55l and 5h. Perhaps on solid wall by door Y too? I marked up photos to show where.

Note: the fan is only on during the day too help with heat removal. It has been an incredible hot summer 103 - 107 for almost a month in July. UGH.
Or we could put 1or 2 vents in the roof of the add-on without any problem.
