rooster sperm is clear.

It is simple. Place your roo in one hand flip him over and check to make sure his rear is clean....clean if needed....flip him back over place your hand under his wings like you were going to pick him up and frmly take that hand down his back toward his tall. You will see and feel him tense up. flip back over and walla you have his white sperm on his bottom. Take a small suringe ....like a diabatic one no needle of course.....suck it off and go get you a girl.....all you do with here is flip her on her backside and put the stuff in it will start looking like it is kissing.....she is pulling it in.....turn her over and just rub her down a little and walla you have a bred hen.

Do not insert the suringe into either one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It should always stay outside the body...if you are unsure of how to actually do it then do not attempt to do it you CAN harm your bird!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know how to do it. I have done it a million times. It should not be clear though. I asked a master breeder in the bantam cochins who does nothimg but AI. He said give him a few days since he was just taken out of the grower pen and he is molting like crazy.

If you have the semen why don't you look at it under a microscope. If you look at it within an hour (and kept it at body temp) you should be able to see active sperm. Any later than that and you would be able to see the sperm but they may not be moving. Then you would know for sure if clear semen = shooting blanks.
