Rooster that cuddles?

They can change with age I hear. I have one barred rock hen that likes to occasionally jump up on my arm or shoulder. Been that way from week 2 on to present day. One BR runt is quite loveable, and has a limp.

All my roosters tolerate being picked up, carried and snuggled (keeps 'em submissive) but Apollo absolutely seeks it out. Tucks his head under my chin and pushes into my shoulder. Just loves to have his head and neck feathers ruffled.

His mama is the same way and so is his son Shawn. Apollo is 5 years old, will be 6 this spring. He was the second chick I ever hatched and has been a sweetie since he was a bit of fluff.

My Australorp roo is a major cuddler. I named him She-ra because he was supposed to be the princess of chickens....oops....he turned out to be a roo. I held him and cuddled him since the day he hatched. Now when I get home from work if I don't come out to pick him up and cuddle he startes squacking like crazy. He is almost 8 months old and I hope he never changes

My rooster.. (Or maybe hen? I think its a rooster..) Is super duper cuddly too, he/she loves the attention, will cuddle in my arms, fall asleep in my lap, snore, and snuggle under my arm, neck, or just snuggle to me. I loooooooove it, its so cute and I hold (it) 😂 every day. I honestly cant really tell the gender. She was supposed to be a she, but now is looking like a he, and people keep swearing she's a cockerel but she really acts like a hen. I need help, lol. Because i really cant tell. She physically looks like a rooster for sure, but acts like a hen. She squats when i pet her and keeps sleeping in the nesting boxes/investigating them. I really dont know!!! Please help me 😆
