Rooster was attack by wild animal. Now is hunched eyes closed mouth open not eating or drinking.

No he doesn't need to drink the entire thing. That's the mixture I've seen here prescribed many times for shock. Just try to get him to drink as much as you can, or gently syringe in his mouth if he won't drink on his own.
Have you tried to offer a scrambled egg to see if he has interest in eating that?

He has shown no interest in eating but I will make him and egg and the drink mix. Thanks

My chickens where attacked by something the other day when we where out. By the time we got home it was dark and we could not find the rooster tell the next say. He has no visible injuries on the outside besides missing feather. He is has his nick tucked in eyes closed and mouth open. He has not eaten or drank water on his own. We where able to get some water in him. I got some cord to give him in hopes it would help. But I want to dose him directly and am not sure on what the correct dosage is. Can someone please help? Thanks

I was able to get some electrolyte and prebiotic to put in the water and i also got Corid. But read somewhere not to mix them all together. So I hoping I could just give the corid right in his mouth and not mixed in to water.
Does anyone have any advice on this?

Is he able to see with his comb hanging over like it is?
Can you get photos of his eyes?
Is his beak cracked or broken, it's hard to tell in the photos.

Look him over for other injuries/punctures that may be hidden under the feathers.

Where is he missing feathers? From the back, tail?

You are giving Corid? It's o.k. to give it won't hurt him, but it's not an antibiotic and will not help with any infections/injuries or wounds. It's a Coccidiostat used to treat Coccidiosis which is mainly seen in young chicks.

What does his crop feel like?

Hi , that is how his comb is normaly.
His beak is not broken from what i can tell. He can open and close it.
He is missing feathers from him tail and back only.
He is so scrunched up right now and has very thick feathers I am not really able to find his crop.
My husband was able to open his eyes and they looked ok. No redness or swelling.

I'd work on hydration.

For his eyes if necessary, rinse them with saline, then put a dot of Terramycin eye ointment in each eye or you can use Original Neosporin.

Looks like he's drooling a bit? I'd look inside the beak for any lesions. Clean out any debris.

Encourage him to take some food, wet feed, bits of egg, etc.

While you are examining him, take note of any lice or mites.

No real update to give he is about the same. Still not eating or drinking on his own. We are able to syringe water in to him a little at a time. He has no interest in food at this time. He has stared to crack one eye open every now and then.
I forgot to say he is not alone. I do have a hen that was also injured at the same time as him. Pined up in the same area. Her back and side where torn up but she is eating, drinking, and moving just fine. I am treating her wounds as well.

My husband and I opened one of the roosters eyes and showed him some food. He was interest and tried to eat but it looks like he may have injured it. Though he can open and close it it looks like he has no power in his bottom beak.
Hopefully there are no major injuries and it is just sore muscles. Maybe that is why he is not opening his eyes?
He is till hanging in there and we will continue to care for him.

You may want to examine the beak more closely.

I understand you may be hesitant handling him for worry of hurting him, but sometimes a good examination is necessary to find out what may be going on or to discover injuries so you can optimize treatment strategies.

Not sure how many days it's been now, your first post was 5 days and you mentioned happened before. I would expect to see some improvement by now, so he may have more injuries or suffered some type of internal damage that is taking longer to recover from.

Work on hydration, syringe fluids if necessary and hand feed him, try wet mush feed.

Is there any type of food that would be good to syringe feed him? I have tried normal chicken food but it is just to chunky even after soaking it to fit in a syringe. I have ground up some dry chicken food as fine as I can to see if that will do better when soaked. But if there is any other food I can do please let me know.
My hen has a big wound on her back/side, do you think an Epson salt bath would be good for her? (Pics of her below)And maybe him?
