Rooster Went Nuts...Brutally Attacked Hen (MORE PHOTOS ADDED)

Its been that greenish yellow really soft stuff they get when they're hurting/sick. She didnt poop for about 1.5 days so I'm happy she's doing that again. She released a giant poop the moment we put her back in her pen after eating earlier and it was that consistency.

Greenish/yellow poop indicates possible bacterial infection....let's hope the penicillin changes it. It's also important to keep giving her probiotics to get the good bacteria to hold back the bad bacteria from taking over.

Yeah, I'm hopeful that the penicillin works. She seems to be slightly better than she was 2 days ago and she even started pecking at food on a plastic fork. We'll see. I'm hopeful the penicillin and the yogurt help her.

I've been giving her electrolyte water on a regular basis with an oral syringe...that along with the yogurt/formula mix is hopefully giving her enough hydration. She's gone from not pooping to the super soft yellow/green. And she's gotten more active too. At this point, even if she never lays another egg in her life, I just want her to pull through.

We're all pulling for her...and you too!

Question on the penicillin...I've read that I can only give it to her for 4 days. Is that accurate or can I keep going with it? Tomorrow will be Day 4.

OMGoodness! Poor baby. I hope she pulls through.

Our 7 week old BR Roo just started acting all aggressive with the hens lately. He better watch himself - he'll end up like your Roo.

Oh wow, she looks a lot better and eating a meal worm is a great sign. I think/hope she is out of the woods and on the road to recovery. You are doing a marvelous job with her.
