I can. But I don't think I can afford bringing him to the vet since I was told it will cost a lot to fix his leg.

It has had a week to heal wrong I would worry that the bone at the joints are dislocated. I think an x ray would be your best bet. trying uploading some pictures maybe that will help us see what is going on. I would call and see what a x ray would cost. Good luck and try and post some pictures
