Went to a couple Mardi Gras there in my late teens.

Cold must be adjusted to also...I'd guess your air conditioner is almost as important as my furnace.

Just an update on Pierce-

Over the last few days he has decided he can walk again. The black place on his comb went away (yay) so he still has his beautiful mohawk. The original injured leg is getting better every day. Catching him and working the leg (stretching and moving it) a couple times a day seems to help him walk more. He still gets worn out faster than normal but thats improving too.

I was so worried when it had been a week since he last stood up, but about 3 days ago my father had been outside rinsing off paint rollers and told me to check on my rooster. Pierce had waddled his way to the big waterer and was socializing more. He began crowing again (which was a relief to me) and when the hens are let out to free range he gets out there too.

I'm still trying to convince him to rest, which is hard to do when his girls aren't close by.

I am SO GLAD he is improving. I was so worried.
