Rooster with labored breathing, possible respiratory infection?

He has symptoms of MG a chronic respiratory disease, including conjunctivitis, face swelling, crackles, wheezes, and some stridor. Tylosin, enrofloxacin/Baytril, and oxytetracycline are all good for that. If using the Baytril, do not let your other chickens take it. I would give it to him orally twice a day. Could you get a weight on him, by holding him while standing on a scale, then subtracting your weight? For an 8 pound rooster the dosage is 0.36 ml given orally twice a day for 5 days.

Sorry it took so long to reply, things have been hectic. He’s been on his antibiotics for a few doses and his breathing has improved. He weighs just over 9 pounds. Some may not approve of this but I’ve also been giving him albuterol breathing treatments for an about 30 seconds at a time a few times a day and it definitely helps. He’s wheezing less and has more energy. I’m hoping he pulls through
