rooster won't come outside of the coop

Hormones can take a while to setting down. But I would imagine if this is a hormone issue, he should pop out of this pretty soon.

If a week goes by and he is still in there, you might give him a really good once over looking for health issues and you might even post in our emergency section.

But see if he doesn't pull out of it first in the next day or so.

Well, my silkie rooster "Stevie" finally came out of the coop. It took him 3 days to get over whatever it was. I am pretty sure you guys were right with the hormones theory. He is now carrying on his "rooster" duties like he should. Thanks for all the help.
