Rooster?

This bird is about 8+ weeks old and is our farm mix Easter egger hen x golden laced wyandotte roo.

Hard to tell is this one pullet or cockerel. I was leaning cockerel but unsure since they don't have the waddles like other breads and from the wyandotte carries the rose comb

Very pretty bird! Looks like a pullet.

It is a bit early to tell, but the neck feathering, and feather pattern in general is going to suggest this is a cockerel. Obviously since it is a mix, there are variables that wouldnt have with a pure GLW, but I'm going cockerel on this one.

I'm going to bring in some of the gender/breed friends since they may not see this over in this forum.

Wow so pretty!! The lacing and the beard combined! I think I’m leaning cockerel on this one. It’s tough because EE pullets don’t pink up early but Wyandotte’s are know to and this bird is a mixture of both!

The legs look super thick so I am guessing cockerel. But I'd give it a few more weeks to be sure.
