I'm not great w/ the larger combed ones, but she looks like a she that is about to lay to me. The black feathers will have a green sheen on both male and female, and spurs usually don't start to develop until they are older (Oreo my boy didn't start until about 10 months to 1 year old.)

Don't mind that shes a sex-link either, got those two from the local pet supplier and they seemed a bit doubtful about the breed when they said australorp, but theyre still gorgeous either way

Glad it worked out for you with a hen not a roo. Most the time I think when we ask we already know it's a roo just hoping someone says it's not.
