My RIR is standing a lot more erect and it's tail feathers are coming in a lot slower then the rest of the bunch I have. Granted it's a mixture of hens so maybe they're just growing at different rates but I have a bad feeling... What do you think?

"He" is three or four weeks old. I just got rid of my rooster for the neighbors sake, I was hoping for hens!!

Oh sad, I feel your pain

I had to re-home my only Swedish Flower chick as it turned out to be a roo

We do get attached to the little guys. I would wait till there was more proof it's a boy-but that's just me. Think my guy was 8 weeks when I re-homed him.

That young? That's a boy. He has more comb development than my six week old RIR males.
