Rooster's legs turning red????

Thanks! I was worried about the red on my white leghorns legs aswell. At least now I know the answer!

I have to ask, has anyone else noticed this on a hen? I have a young pullet that gets this red on her legs, but it comes and goes.

one of my hens legs are turning red behind the leg and between the toes.
did a search and found this thread, they look just like the rooster in the first post.
I assume this is normal, right?

Yeah, Bob's look just like that. My EE's don't though. Or maybe I just don't see it because of their green legs?

well he is finally figuring out how to dance for the ladies, still working on the crowing... he can only get about 2 and a half out so far, he sounds like a teenager with his voice changing..... still crack up when he tries. Glad to hear it is ok, will have to get a picture of his head, not sure what kind he is...

Thank you

Hah hah, our boy Schnitzel is working out his fancy feet also. How cool is the Mexican hat dance they do? He then slightly drops a wing as if to usher one of the gals out onto the dance floor with him. I found this thread looking for information on the red leg caper; phew, nothing dangerous. Oi, they grow up so fast....
