I purchased 6 Araucana chicks from my local, reputable Ace Hardware. They are about 4 1/2 weeks old. I was told they were all hens. But I have tail feathers growing out and I am concerned half are Roosters.
What pictures do you need to help me figure out what they are?? Head shots, legs, tails or what?? Let me know what is best to tell and I will take the pics and post.

Thanks in Advance

Steve

4.5 weeks is a little young, but we'll give it a shot.

Get a good clear full-body shot. Preferrably a profile.
Also a closeup of the face, not just the comb itself.

It is impossible to get them to stand still long enough to get a half decent shot. I will try this again in a week or two. Will just add pics to this thread.

Thank You for the reply

Steve

LIke taking pics of small children. Outside, direct light, fast shutter speed---400 pictures for the 5 you'll send to grandma.
