Roosters + Rooster?

He spends time at night in a cat run in my bedroom, he spend day time running around on sheets on my floor and bed and also in a travel cot when I have to leave the room, I spend most of my time picking up poo and playing with him, he was the only chick to hatch form my first attempt at incubation
Cat question...my chickens have a run...essentially a giant outdoor space. my three cats pretty much spend all night outside and all day inside....but have no fence....but they don’t ruin my landscape or poop everywhere. what is a cat run for? bigger predators?

your comments about your rooster inside are great. my rooster is in the coop, but he’s the only chicken i hold and i tuck him in about every night. with the hens, i guard their safety and health, but that’s about it. there’s 23 of them and when they stop laying we’ll make bone broth. however, my rooster is a pet. he’s affectionate and loves cuddles...so far. with chickens through out my life, there are special birds that come along. on our farm, they always die of old age. we once had a hen that lived about 10-11 years raised from the incubator. she was one of a kind.

correction...only the exceptional one of a kind birds die of old age. the other ones live normal poultry lives.

A cat run is usually a small portable enclosure that allows an indoor cat safe access to be out doors, in this case the run I use would also be used for other small animal . He won’t fit in it comfortably for too much longer , hence the questions on how to integrate with the others. If I can’t do it soon he’s going to have to roam my house in a chicken diaper until I can build him his own coop and run

So after a month, all four roosters sleep in the same coop, they don’t fight but neither is the new roo their best friend, he is a big chicken and runs away from them a lot but has started to roost on top of the coop with them before bed 😸
That’s great that it seems to be working out!
