I've had hens for over 2 years, and they've always gone into the coop on their own at night. Suddenly, one hen (barred rock) has decided to roost in a tree outside. The first night I just reached up and grabbed her and put her inside. The second night was work- my daughter had to stand on my husband's shoulders to get her, and we took her inside and clipped one wing before putting her in the coop. Tonight she's back in the tree! And I cannot reach her, so she's sleeping out tonight. Suggestions?

Keep them penned up for a few days and nights maybe.
Check the coop and see what might be bothering her in there....any predators lately?
After 2 years that's kinda weird.
