I have read that "the poop+" is the best garden additive possible? Why on earth would one toss it?

I am building raised bed gardens to accommodate "IT"!

I totally agree but haven't yet researched how to properly compost it...

@MiaS I am certain you will figure composting out right quick! Done right it is from coop to run then straight to garden each spring.

I've seen a video where a guy made chicken manure compost tea and poured it directly on his fruit trees. I am just not sure how well it needs to be composted to not be too nitrogen rich and burn my garden. Gardening here in the Chinook zone is tough enough without burning my plants I'll figure all that out once the coop is done...very, very soon I hope!

Stupid question. What do you then do with the poop? Compost or toss it?

I have acreage... all of the poo from the coops goes to one spot on my slope. Helps the weeds there grow green and tall.

"A weed is a plant in the wrong place." Chickens will eat all that are available!

Ah... the key, if you don't want to compost, or burn plants... use it as a side dressing.

My grandmother would put all poop filled chicken coop bedding in between the garden rows.

My chickens use my greenhouse in the winter. In the spring I only shovel out any poo sheets (only happens when the ducks are in there) then I do 2 deep soakings of the area. Then I plant my starts. The starts MUST be in their own clean soil from the pot that they were in, and they need a 4 inch diameter hole of clean soil. Then there is no burning.

If i put them in a hole of 2 inch diameter there is at times a bit of tip burn, but they quickly grow out of it and flourish.

Well, you are well underway and using the simpler KD method should have you catching up in no time
