That's a neat little table, I may have my husband make up something like this sometime. I like the cabbage tether ball idea too.

That branch should be fine. I pick up fallen branches and save the straightest ones approx. 2-3" diameter for the chickens. I currently also have 4 or 5 jammed into the run fence for birds to hop up and down on.
