? Rope twine looking thing

Thank you all for advice I tried to reply to the question I had but I was tripping on it I thought it was some kind of intestines of some kind but it was just under her feathers it was tied in a knot and I have no idea how she got it I guess rooting in the leaves and such but I got it off thank you all but I have another question do y’all know why my Welch haraquin drake has turned all grey his head especially can y’all please tell me if I should take him to the doctor he’s about 4 years old I believe ??

Glad it was only a knotted thread. No clue about the feather change.
