Hi, I have 5 chickens that are mixed breed. They are a mix with a blrw roo and either a slw or glw hen. one is blrw mixed with a delaware hen.
They all seem to have wide red combs, some with small wattles. They are 7 weeks old. their tails all look like hens, but maybe it's too early to see rooish tails.
my question is when do rose comb chicks combs turn red? is there any hope for these five? I know it's hard without photos. my regular computer is still in the shop. i'm worried that rehoming 5 mixed breed roos will be harder than the rir's I've rehomed so far. i'm keeping 2 roos, but I can't keep alllll of them!
