Rose of sharons

Mine are in tree form, about 8 or 10 feet tall, if I'm naming them correctly. (And yes, tie-die with ballet slippers and bridal veils are going to be ALL THE RAGE in kindergarten this year.)

We have hundreds of hummingbirds. We have two feeders that need refilling every day. PIGS! :o

They also love our bright red trumpet vine and our scarlet runner beans.
 
I would love to trade for pines but once again my problem lies in the fact that trees shouldn't be shipped until they go dormant. Mine are purple and seem very hardy. I will post pictures tomorrow. Now the thing you have to remember is that i put these in this spring brfore they leaved out. Some of them were growing with a lean which I will prune out of them this fall.
 
I am in zone 6 and some of mine are blooming, others I have that are a different variety bloom end of July through September.
