I really enjoy the black rosecomb. But what I realize is they need to be on grass to be pretty.

I have a few eggs in incubator. Hope they hatch.

I got two bantams to keep my Roo company when he was failing to keep up his growth rate with my girls. One ended up being a beautiful blue Roo. He is a great rooster.

I really really love this little Roo. I'm contemplating making a bantam coop and getting some girls for him. He has one bantam that is a Black Dutch but she submits to my Austrolorp Roo (ik it's nuts). He dances for the girls, is extremely good at looking out for predators, finds food and calls for them, and is non aggressive yet still curious towards people. Pretty much perfect.

Too bad I'm not ready to build a coop for them yet because the blacks and splash rc are definitely tempting. Still have a billion other projects in line before building a bantam coop.
