Rouen duckling can't walk. Help please!!

So I feel like this little one hit a major growth spurt overnight! So big and lively. Going to the vet in the morning at 11am. Hoping they have some answers. I also got a contact at the University of Connecticut for a poultry specialist and emailed him and sent videos. I'm waiting to hear back. I will let you all know thoughts. I fear that this little munchkin won't get better and I don't have the time to devote like this forever as in going to nursibg school in the fall full time. I sure do love this little one though and want him to get better! I can't go there in my mind right now, just gotta wait until I ha e definite answers, and keep working with him and praying. People who say they're "just ducks" have no idea.
Please let us know what they say. I'm praying for the both of you. God bless you for loving and caring for him.

We just had our before bedtime swim and are curled up to sleep for the night. Liked great swimming and a lot of adult feathers coming in! 12 days old tomorrow! Tomorrow is gonna be a big day, with hopefully great news! It's so funny to see his little head perk up when I come in after work, and tonight we took the basket out to the living room to watch tv and hang with the dogs. This little one does t know he's any different! Hangs with my dogs, and watches everything while getting fed peas while he stands in his cup on the counter. It's funny how we have a routine and schedule now. Thank you for all the thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. It is much appreciated and the support. Hopefully the vet has some answers. I will let you all know, I've seen so many similar cases but no official diagnosis from anyone so hopefully this will help many others. If nothing at least we can find out if it's a boy or girl!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!
Saw the vet today, they think it's a neurological issue. Waiting to talk to his colleague about it on Monday, as he is out of the country. Supplementing with Vitamin E oil 200 IU once a day, and bought crumble specifically for waterfowl. We are gonna give that five days and see if anything changes. Didn't realize it but "lemon the duck" is also a patient where we went. Lemon is a special duck who has a children's book written about her and lives a great life.
For now we aren't giving up, this little one is not suffering at all, just can't walk. Praying for some improvement just to have a somewhat normal life to thrive. We are hoping the bigger he gets the bigger his duck feet and he'll be able to flip over to walk.
We are hanging on for now, and spoiling him rotten. We will see what's in store for the next five days. We are hopeful. The worst thing is really that I just don't have the time to dedicate to this little guy for FULL care forever. So worst case scenario we try to find him a loving home where he can live happy with a person devoted to his full care, @MissPatty we thought of you and your dedication to Turbo

if you are interested. Putting him to sleep is not an option for us. The vet also confirmed he isn't suffering at all.
I spend so much time rescuing dogs, who would have ever thought we would end up trying to rescue a duck! Thanks for all the love, prayers, and support. I'll check in with you all later. I'm attaching some pics of the vet trip, and sleeping on my chest. Love this munchkin!
Thank you Feather loving friends!
