Rouen Ducks Sex?

I’ve only had female Rouens, but this is what my youngest girls looked like at about the same age as yours. I don’t have great tail pictures, but hopefully they help! My younger girls are just over 12 weeks old now. They were quacking loudly between 6 and 8 weeks of age (I had a late bloomer). Your girls should be very loud and obnoxious (but cute), and your boys will sound raspy or they may sound like a kazoo. So these Rouen Ducks were all females??? I am surprised at the dark tails on them. That is what my 6 week old one looks like and I thought that would make it a male but I also think it might be a Mallard due to the right back toe missing and the size of it. Beautiful Ducks by the way.

Thank you! Yes, my Rouens and my WH turned out to be girls! My only drake(ling) is my KC, but he hasn’t realized that he’s a drake yet.

I will try to get videos of their voices! When I get too far away from them there are two that very loudly quack looking for me.

You will definitely know if there are any males by their voice. It’s very different. Quieter and more “warbley.”
