How heavy are they? Domestic mallards are only 2 or 3 lbs, Rouen drakes are 8 lbs or more, depending on quality...

That’s why I think Mallard. Those drakes look rather small.

Also, how well do the drakes fly? @AshleyNicole06 Mallards fly well, whereas Rouens do not.

They’re not very heavy.. but they’re only 7 months old.

They fly pretty well! The other day they took off over the power lines! (First time ever!) and we’re very scared when they landed!

They’re not very old.. (7 months) if that makes a difference

They are not very heavy, also they are only 7 months old.
The place we got them said they were Rouens. But after flying over the power lines the other day I’m thinking different.
They have never flown that high before!! I’m not sure if something scared them or what.

They look big for mallards, really... but small for Rouens as well... though hatchery quality of either breed can vary quite widely... might be Rouen/Mallard cross?
