Roundworms

I give it to them with a syringe without a needle. I cradle the hen in one arm, pull down on her wattles with my thumb and finger to open her mouth. Then quickly with the pre-loaded syringe in my other hand, shoot the liquid down her throat. They swallow it on their own. Then I let her go on her way. Next hen please! lol

This should be fun considering there's one I have a tough time catching and when I do she squacks like crazy! Thanks again

This why I stopped using wazine. You dont know if the chickens drank it or drank enough of it to be effective. I dont use ivermectin neither, it's effectiveness against roundworms are questionable at best due to resistance from overuse in chickens, particularly ivomec injectable use in chickens. I recommend you use either valbazen liquid cattle/sheep wormer as chkn stated or safeguard liquid goat wormer or safeguard equine paste.

how do I use safe gauard past for horses on my chcickens I have a tube and would like to use it,

You can also load the syringe, put the needle back on, and inject it into a small bread square. I may have one that refuses to eat it and she gets the forced squirt down the throat. Normally they'll go for it if they're hungry enough. I'll do it before I restock the feed in the a.m. so they're good and hungry.

Use a "pea" size amount of the paste for each chicken.
