Hi, newbie to chick-raising! Building a coop now, and weighing options regarding what to use on the floor of my coop. It's 8 x 4 with plywood construction. Considering sealing floor with rubberized paint or just painting with regular paint. Found some neoprene rubber sheeting on a roll that can be bought by the foot on Amazon and was wondering if this was an appropriate material to be used as a liner on the floor?? Thanks (below is a link to the material)

I just used two coats of Porch and Floor paint. It's held up great.

Neoprene rubber could be used, don't think it's great choice (EDPM would be better),
but the product you linked is only 4" wide, so no.
aart, thanks for pointing that out. I read it as 4' in my haste. I still would like input about the cheapest effective alternatives, since we have way overspent on our coop construction lol!

Paint is probably the cheapest, as @DobieLover suggested
.....but might not want to go with the cheapest paint, get good porch an floor paint
I got a 10x12 roll of linoleum for $15 bucks last time at home junkit. Find one that is alittle beaten up or end of rolls. Usually they really mark that stuff down to get it gone.

I wouldn't suggest using cheap vinyl, can be a real mess to clean up once it starts breaking down.
