Rumpless and tailless birds do occasionally appear in other breed. It’s a genetic defect (when the breed should have a tail) and the chickens shouldn’t be used for breeding.

I have a rumpless RIR. Or so I thought. No tail ever. Though after feeling her spine, perhaps she is just missing a tail rather than truly rumpless? She has grown exactly as the chicks bough with her. Same size etc. they have nice full pronounced tails. She has nothing at all. But she does not have that rounded kind of drop-off hiney lol. Just love her look! Yours are adorable with that missing tushy look! This is my Georgette
