Run updates - enrichment, new roof and my “chicken TV seat“ (yes, that‘s a thing)

Hallo everyone, I would like to use this thread to post some updates to our run.
Word of warning: except for the coop which was built by a carpenter, everything was built by me and I‘m an enthusiastic amateur. Everything is very sturdy but I cannot do right angles The chickens don‘t seem to mind, though.
My first and biggest project was a roof over roughly 250 square feet of my run. We live very close to the North Sea with a lot of migrating birds. Due to that, our chickens were in „“lockdown“ for at least six months every year. I was tired of my ugly short-term solutions, hence the new roof.
It is made of wooden frames with hardware cloth and greenhouse film on top to keep the apple tree and bamboo bush alive.

Another update that wanted for myself was a seat with a roof to watch chicken TV We get a lot of rainy or windy weather here and the simple garden chair just wasn‘t enough any more… I also used the chance to rip out the grass and plant a meadow of bee friendly flowers. My husband and daughter call the result my bus stop but I love it

As for enrichment, I added two platforms, a dust bath in one half of an old wine barrel and, my favourite, an old hand wagon. The ladies love it

Here some current pictures of my TV seat and a little chicken toy I dubbed the bell board. Some chickens ignore it but others enjoy pecking the bells.
I am currently working at another little project in the run and will post pictures when it is done. I hope I could give you a few useful ideas

Chicken tv seat reminds me of a homegrown bus stop, should hinge those 'widows' at the top to protect from rain.

Thanks, I‘ll add the location The shutter does close, the hinges are at the bottom so the shutter also serves as a table. I still have to add the shutter on the other side though

Love the "bus stop" and the platform and wagon! The bell board is adorable, and I'm so glad they're attached with carabiners rather than string or something that could fray and get eaten.
