(( Uh, a day or so. Why you ask? ))

It had been two more weeks.
Fourteen days since she had last seen Garron...
Fourteen days of utter misery and hopelessness as, slowly but surely, she failed more and more tasks, some of them ridiculously simple. She was just to exhausted...to drained, metally and physically to do all that was required of her.
Today, Scar had finally sent her out alone to hunt. He was busy hunting with the alphas again. But Piper didn't know if she even wanted to try and find Garron...in her state...he probably wouldn't even recognized her. He would also probably think she had left him for good...never wanting to see him again...be with him.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
She still was limping from her sprained paw as she slowly wandered the territory listlessly...not knowing where her paw's took her. Unwittingly moving closer and closer to loner land.

Garron had waited... and waited... and waited a little more. He'd given up hoping that Piper would come to see him, and he didn't understand why she'd suddenly stopped. I told her I'd always be there for her... guess she didn't feel the same.

He climbed up onto the top of a boulder and let out a long, lonely howl.

Quote:
Piper barely heard the howl through her ringing ears...but hear it she did.
Her head shot up and she raced for the sound. Forgoten was her injured paw...forgotten her brother...forgotten her wiriness and stress....
Garron...
She raced into the clearing stumbling to a stop.

Garron didn't see Piper. After a few long moments, he hopped down and began to pad off into the woods.
