Ebony cocked his head. "True, but, I wanted to ask you if you would hunt with me?" he smiled a sheepish-wolfish smile and the tip of his tail wagged.

Mari woke, and yawned.  She blinked, got up, and shook herself.  She looked down at the flattened place where Aki had slept.  Then she remembered West.  She peered into the cave and saw the pups figure.  She stretched and padded out of the den.  She walked over to Aki, and sat down beside him, and licked his fur.  "Good morning." she smiled.

"Good morning." Aki said rolling over. He stretched and playfully nipped at Mari. His wounds still hurt but they were healing well.

(West is a year old now)

West slowly got to his feet and limped towards the den entrance. He whined.
"Its okay pup." Aki said, he was in a good mood. "Just don't leave the den site."
West nodded. He limped off a little ways, looking for Sierra.

Mari growled playfully and licked his face. She smiled at her mate's good mood.

Sierra woke, and looked around. She blinked and walked out into the sun. She glanced over at Mari and Aki, but paid no attention to them. She stretched out in the sun, and began washing her blood stained white coat.

Aki tugged her ear playfully.

West sat several feet behind Sierra, watching her. She was such a beautiful wolf and he doubted she would ever really like him, since he was still young. He laid his head on his paws and watcher her grooming.(stalker O_o)
 
Atra snarled, "Tomorrow we will teach those sorry mutts a lesson."
She trotted up to the kill and marked it with her scent until it reeked of her pack.
