Shade snarled as a fresh cut oozed blood on his face. He jumped back, circling.

Laughter echoed against the trees as a lanky white wolf pup trotted from behind a pine bough. Frost had been angered by his mother and had run off to hunt on his own. He stood staring at Sierra, "Hi." He smiled Frost had been told by his mother that all wolves loved dark pack that that was why they took over land to show the lesser packs true power.
