looks like what is called a gray runner. Red looks like my ducks. Runners come from mallards.

I know. But he came from a place with a bunch of Rouens, maybe 1 or possibly 2 Runners, and one Saxony hen. So, I really don't know if he's part or full Runner. But I have 3 Rouens, at the very least.
And I have to decide what drakes I want! :eyeroll:

If I wanted to keep Red as a breeding drake for my Rouens would the resulting babies grow up to look like Rouens but stand and lay like Runners??? Or would their color change?

could go either way i think. Both are a mix of the mallard. I know that doesn't help you.

10 weeks old. They are still changing and getting in to there adult feathers.

Awe! These are my 6. They're starting to eclipse at 10 weeks. I really wish I had some Runners but nobody had any around here. They're so cute!

First is a gray. Still changing. Will look like a mallard. Third is a emery pencil. Thanks i love taken pictures of my ducks... and they are done with my cellphone.
