*~*Runner Duck Club*~*

I did as you suggested, I have Neem so I got the two ducks and gave them a neem bath, by putting their tub in my tub. They actually enjoyed it. The water was very warm .While they were in there with the glass door closed, I went out to clean up the shelter and put fresh straw, etc. I towel dry`d the ducks and put them back. With the heat lamp on. That Khaki really has no down under her feathers. They both did allot of preening. To get their green`s, I think I should add rabbit pallets as a free source. Th

ey all seem to be munching on the clean straw.

I have never heard of giving them a neem bath hopefully it is okay I have never used neem on the birds just their living quarters. They look good and I am sure they are enjoying the new fresh bedding.

Add some real good quality cat kibble to their diet that will help with feathers. I give mine grain free dog kibble because that is what I feed my dogs my birds love it.This is a treat not their sole food

Hi all, I have an Indian Runner that lost her other half about 6 days ago. I was able to find a Muscovy and am trying to get them to bond. Has anyone been through a Runner losing it's buddy? The Runner is incredibly distressed and I was wondering if anyone had tips, advice or know how on this topic. Thanks.

A Muscovy is so much bigger then a Indian Runner, I do not think that would be a very god idea for the sake of the Indian Runners well being. Especially if the Muscovy is a drake. Call around and you will find her match.

Is the Muscovy young? Where are you located? I may be able to get you a " Runner Mate" sometime! I have 6 eggs in an incubator and working on getting another incubator up and running. I am in WA State.
