*~*Runner Duck Club*~*

Here is a blue fawn female in the very top right of the photo. You can see her eyestripe and neck. Rest of the body is cut off by another duck.

Beautiful @apricotvalleywf . thanks for clearing the color up. I love Stretch's color he is one handsome dude.

Just to clarify on Blue Fawn in the US nomenclature, Blue Fawn is wild colour with 1 dose of incompletely dominant blue.  The drake will express a neck ring.  The drake in the photo looks to be a Blue Dusky as opposed to a Blue Fawn. Duskies are one of my favourites!
what does "Blue Fawn is wild colour w/1 dose of incompletely dominant blue" mean? thanks

Blue Fawn is also called Blue Mallard... typical Mallard color is called gray or wild type in other duck varieties... Blue Fawn is that base color with a blue gene added... :)

Here's one of my fawn runners and I. Her name is Thelma. I thought I'd name the "runners", Thelma and Louise. Get it?

What a sweet pic.. I had 2 Muscovy sisters named Lavern and Shirley you probably don't remember that show though. It was back in the dark ages.

Hey there! I'm not sure about all of the breeds of duck that they have, but I got my babies from them. Have you heard of Metzer Farms?
http://metzerfarms.com
I hope you find the duck you're looking for!

Thank you, I did check Metzer Farm. They only have black, blue and chocolate. I'm not necessarily wanting one. Was just curious if there was such a color and what they looked like.
Thanks again, Linda
