Runner Duckling Q

My ducklings hatched Sunday and Monday, so one in two days ago. One of the ducklings had a really hard time getting out of his shell and is clearly not as strong as everybody else. I was cleaning out their brooder and lifted him out and realized he had a red underbelly , is this normal? I honestly didn’t think he was going to make it through the night, and he seems significantly better than yesterday… But he still definitely is behind the others.

Looks like she’s been biting at herself there maybe itchy
Use antibiotic ointment like Neosporin a couple times a day make sure it is NOTthe kind that has pain relief stuff added.

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely do that. There’s 9 more like it! It was my first hatch and they all hatched and I so worried about something happening to this little one!

He seemed totally fine and then when he was 1 week he died
